About Benjamin

At the age of 4, Benjamin was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), a rare disease that is also classified as cancer.

Benjamin is truly an inspiring little superhero. He treats every hospital visit like a special adventure and is best known for being happy, positive, kind, affectionate, enthusiastic, inclusive and for the wonderful sense of humour that pairs perfectly with his big smile and contagious laugh.

After his diagnosis my aunt surprised him with a very special superhero cape she'd made. Ever since he's insisted on wearing it to every treatment, surgery, test and appointment.

If you ask him, his super power is saving pets. If you ask me, his mum, his super power is his ability to always, always find the light.
